Stone Age Cave paintings!
The children created their cave wall backgrounds by blending different chalk pastel colours. They sketched their animal outlines using a charcoal pencil and then filled them in with strong chalk pastels - trying to replicate the colours that people in the Stone Age would have used from natural materials found in the environment.
