KINNA'S FOREST SCHOOL

Garden Jobs

Make a list of the outside jobs you've done!

I've straightened up the net.
Weeded and planted some baby salads.
Harvested the winter salads for the vilage larder.
Set up the watering system to keep your tiny seeds growing hopefully. You can't quite make it out in the picture but I finally got the sprinkler going again :-)
Did some weeding and essential soil preparation.
Taken some photos of the amazing job you all did preparing the garden for the season.
Just in time! Look at the wonderful paths we now have, all ready for a bit more compost and planting. We always need more compost as its so sandy and dry here! The organic matter of the compost helps bring nutrients and structure to the soil. So brilliant your hard work! Maybe you'd like to use these pictures to draw up a plan and do your garden designs!?
Strawberry bear and I were so tired after our hard work that we had to take a little break during lunch and lie on the grass and enjoy the blue sky. It made us feel SOOO much bettter and like everything is going to be ok, you can ALL do the same every day to help you feel grounded, calm and positive. Remind your parents too ;-)

Wow this is so awesome! What a beautiful garden and forest school. So cool. I can’t wait to watch it blossom and grow. It’s a lovely thing to witness during this strange time of isolation. Xxxx
