Hi Snape Super Stars & Everyone!
We've been so busy with the school garden this growing season that I've got behind with posts on here! Just waiting to upload my photos and you'll soon have a wonderful gallery of all our fabulous adventures this term.
The children have been having the best time sowing seeds, watching them grow and reaping the rewards of their hard work. We celebrated their brilliant gardening and all their hard work before half term with a hot chocolate celebration around the fire. The younger children were learning vocab and the meaning of the word ceremony, so they created and invented their own beautiful ceremony for the full flower moon, with gratitude for nature and all it's bounty, we acknowledged all their hard work and everything they'd learned, we reflected on forest school adventures and sang songs, danced and enjoyed hot chocolates. The children decorated the fire with flowers foraged in our forest, it was wonderful!
It has been amazing having the children back since lockdown, knowing that they're having the freedom and adventure of forest school in the fresh air is just great, they've been having so much fun, grown beautiful things and learned so much. We all look forward to it every week.
More info and pics coming soon!
