We believe that the learning of a foreign language provides a valuable educational, social and cultural experience for pupils. Pupils develop communication and literacy skills that lay the foundation for future language learning. We have chosen to teach Snape children FRENCH. We use an interactive programme called RIGOLO to support learning. We also use songs and well known books in French such as 'La petite chenille qui fait des trous.'/'The Very hungry caterpillar.' to help us with days of the week and food, for example.
We want our children to enjoy French and be confident to speak it out loud with one another and, hopefully, use in France one day too.
